About Simply Cellos

I have been providing quality Cellos to teachers and pupils for over 20 years. As a Professional 'cellist myself, I am passionate about cellos and am always happy to assist you in finding the perfect instrument for you or your child's needs. 

I initially started renting out cellos to my own cello pupils as I was fed up with seeing the awful rental cellos pupils were bringing to lessons, making it so much harder for pupils to press the strings down easily and to produce a good sound.

I decided to do something about this, so in 2005 I started buying good secondhand cellos and having them set up properly with better strings and renting them to my pupils. 

Cello teacher friends liked what I was doing and so I expanded to cover their schools and pupils. Simply Cellos took off from there!

The reason I can keep my prices so competitive is that I don't just send out brand new cellos straight from the factory, and buy a new cello for each rental. I look after all my Cellos well, service them regularly (to keep the bridges straight and pegs working well) and re-use them.

This means that, for the same price as a factory cello, you are provided with a much higher quality instrument that is so much more enjoyable to both play and be taught on!
