Cello Hire with a Difference!

A colorful landscape featuring mountains, a lake, and a vibrant sky during sunset.

From a 1/32 to full size Cellos for hire!

My 'cellos are set up by Anthony Nickolds Violins (a high class luthier) as per the Cellos for Sale.

It is this attention to detail that makes a big difference to how easy my 'cellos are to play, and to the sound quality they produce.

They are all fitted with either Prelude, Jargar, or Larsen Aurora strings for optimal sound quality and ease of playing.

I offer cellos of all sizes and levels, from Stentor 1, a good starter cello, to Primavera 200 Cellos for the Intermediate Cellist, Stentor Conservatoire or Stentor Elysia and Jay Haide Cellos for the more advanced player.

You can easily change the size or level of your Cello at any point during the cello rental period.

Areas covered:

Worcester, Stourport, Bromsgrove, Kidderminster, Birmingham, Malvern, Bewdley, Stourbridge, Droitwich, Redditch, Bristol, Cardiff, West Midlands, Bridgnorth

This is the most basic'Cello you can get and I used to hate them until I did an experiment with one! I asked my Luthier to work on the Bridge and Top Nut (as usual, but thinning the bridge more) and put Larsen Aurora Strings on (£80 worth of fantastic strings).

The result was a remarkably resonant sound and an easy (but still very cheap) 'cello to play!

Delivery

Cellos for Sale

Most Courier companies will not insure cellos if they are damaged whilst in transit...and not a lot of cello shops know that yet! Please contact me with your postcode and I will give you a quote for using a good Courier Company (usually DPD) The last thing you want is a box of wooden bits when your lovely cello arrives!

Rental Cellos

As I offer such a bespoke service with the rental cellos, I like to service them at least once a year to keep them playing at their best.
