 I starting learning the 'cello at the age of 8, attending Music School most days after school, and every Saturday. 

I then went on to study under Ulrich Heinen and later John Todd.

I learned so much from both of these amazing 'Cellists, not only about performing the cello, but also about how to teach the cello in a very relaxed manor with good posture...and I like to throw a lot of fun in too, I believe that is very important!

After completing a Music degree from Bristol University, then a PGCE from Warwick University, I taught the cello full time for a few years, before turning to Performing Professionally and teaching in my spare time.

I have taught at various Schools, Colleges and Universities, including Solihull Sixth Form College, Elmfield Rudolf Steiner School, Winterfold House Preparatory School and Warwick University
